GEORGIA : "The First Caucasian" TV channel changes its name
Russian-language TV channel "The First Caucasian" is planning to rename itselft "First Interactive Caucasian," and for short - FIC, reports Georgia Online, with reference to the televisions' website pik.tv. The "new" channel will be fully operational in early 2011. "The First Caucasian" TV channel began broadcasting in January 2010 in Georgia in a test mode on Eutelsat, but after a slow start the Georgian authorities decided to transfer the TV company to private hands.
