RUSSIA: Mosfilm launched its YouTube channel
Russian Cinema Concern Mosfilm opened its own channel on the Google-owned video sharing YouTube. At http://www.youtube.com/mosfilm about 50 films from 1930's to early 2000's, can be seen until and among them "Jolly Fellows" ("Veselye Rebyata"), " "Irony of Fate " ("Ironiya Sudby"), "Andrei Rublev", "The Mirror" ("Zerkalo") and others.
About a year ago Mosfilm had already launched a network of online cinema at www.cinema.mosfilm.ru where registered users could watch a movie at one of two "virtual cinemas." Some of Concern movies were broadcasted for free but the visitors did not have the possibility to choose films and had to follow the website announcements. Now they can do it on the Mosfilm's YouTube channel where around two hundred popular films will be lined up in high definition before the end of the year as reported by the Russian office of Google and the Concern.Source: MediaBusiness UA
