RUSSIA: New music TV channel enters on the scene
It has been learned that the company New Media Legend (a satellite provider for a majority of Russian DTH platforms, cable and IPTV operators) is preparing the launch of a new channel from the creators of the popular radio Europa Plus.
Initially the format of the TV channel will consist of music videos (conforming to format of Europa Plus radio station). Later, the channel plans to start the production of programs such as the morning show "Orange Morning," and the daily newsmagazine on the lives of celebrities "Star Boulevard," and other programs. The TV channel appeared on the satellite Eutelsat W7 (36° e.) on November 23, 2010 and started its broadcasting in a test mode on 1 December.
