RUSSIA: SGU TV changes its name
From 1 January 2011 the Russian educational channel SGU TV will change its name to Pervyj obrazovatelnyj (First educational). SGU TV started broadcasting in 1998 on the initiative of the Modern University of Humanities. The aim of the channel is to promote human values. SGU TV offers recordings of lectures and programs with the largest specialists in various fields, prominent figures in science, arts and sports.SGU TV can be seen by viewers in Russia, CIS, Baltic region and Europe. The station operates around the clock, offering three blocks of eight hours. SGU TV Library contains over 10,000 unique recordings of lectures.Source: SGU TV
